Nutrition Officer Job in Kajiado - Welthungerhilfe/German Agro Action

Welthungerhilfe/German Agro Action is an international organization operating in
various districts in Kenya and is currently implementing a General Food Distribution
and Supplementary Feeding Programme in the WFP Protracted Relief and Recovery
Operations (PRRO) in Kajiado. We are looking for a suitable qualified Nutrition
Officer to be based in our Kajiado field office.

To qualify for this position the candidate should poses the following:-

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Public Health
• Experience in emergency nutrition and familiarity with latest developments in nutrition preferably experience gained in ASAL districts
• Experience with nutrition data collection and analysis as well as reporting skills
• Relevant practical experience in community based nutrition programs
• Excellent communication skills in English, Kiswahili and local language (Masaai)
• Ability to design and deliver training activities in the nutrition sector
• Be computer literate
• Be ambitious, honest, and self-motivated
• Be a team player, flexible and supporting high work pressure loads
• Have a minimum of 2 years of post qualification experience in a similar position
• Be willing to live and work in remote areas and with local communities
