Position: Front End Developer

Job Description:

The desired candidate should have:
  • At least 2+ years’ experience creating HTML/CSS templates from Photoshop and Illustrator by hand.
  • Ability to create cross-browser compatible websites
  • Interaction with Art Directors or Designers to create exact or nearly exact HTML/CSS duplications of artwork (Pixel Perfect / near Pixel Perfect)
  • Ability to work in a team environment, from making pixel perfect sites that meet the design requirements to integrating code with the back-end development team.
  • Experience implementing data-driven websites
  • Experience maintaining websites using a content management system
  • Strong working knowledge of Photoshop; able to cutup comps from the design team.
  • In-depth knowledge of IE quirks and how to address them.
  • A good ideology for managing maintainable, scalable and cross-browser code across large sites..
  • Deep understanding of CSS inheritance and how to use it to your advantage.
  • Be self motivated
  • Must have integrity and commitment to deadlines
  • Team work and maturity to get project objectives met in a team situation
Bonus Experience
  • Agency experience
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of JavaScript and hands-on experience with JQuery or similar JavaScript API’s. (JQuery, Mootools, etc)
  • Understanding of JavaScript and AJAX ,PHP, ASP.NET, or other server side languages
  • Strong XHTML skills; knowledge of how to use appropriate hooks in XHTML to limit the amount of classes and ID’s required on a page.
Position: PHP Developer

Job Description:

A PHP developer is responsible for the layout, design and coding of a website specifically in PHP format. They figure out the technical and graphical aspects of a website. A PHP developer also maintains and updates an existing website.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Develop the programming code from scratch or by adapting existing website graphics packages and software to meet business requirements
  • Uploading the web site onto a server and registering it with different search engines.
  • Testing the website and identifying any technical problems and hitches
  • Establishing the purpose of the website based on its target audience
  • Determining any functionality that the site must support and developing PHP content based on practical approved layout
  • Identifying the content type the site will host and ensuring compatibility with the PHP programming requirements
  • Giving guidance on colors, layout and styles for the client website
Skills and specifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethics, ability to multi task is a must
  • Ability to program to specification
  • Willingness to learn
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A sharp mind with the ability to grasp concepts quickly and work out complex logic problems
  • A demonstrated ability to learn by doing and taking initiative to "figure things out"
  • Add knowledge in Joomla and the other CMS we use - CMS made simple
  • Also add that that they must be self motivated
